There’s popular confusion around finger snapping and hypnosis because of the authoritarian image of finger snaps. Teachers, parents, coaches often using snapping because it gets compliance. But the role of finger snapping in hypnosis is surprisingly different. Properly timed, finger snapping actually creates a surprise effect. I talk about this in my TEDX, Surprise You’re Hypnotized. Snaps are sudden. If a hypnotist creates momentum, for example towards deep relaxation, and then SNAP! the person can often drop more deeply into a relaxed state. Some believe this is due to a hack of the re-orientation reflex. It really can be amazing. In some cases, with the right timing simple finger snaps drop people directly into deep trance. This is not an order or a command. It’s a mix of momentum, exact timing and direction as the snap, goal and the suggestion must be linked correctly.
So the answer is, if you’ve created the safe container for deep ecstatic release, and the momentum is right, then a person can literally be instantly triggered to orgasm by snapping your fingers. It’s amazing to see. It doesn't work on everyone, but almost everyone in a deep trance, with their consent of course.
